The advent of quantum computing threatens classical cryptographic systems and motivates quantum-resistant communication designs. This paper examines how post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum key distribution (QKD) can be integrated, covering practical deployment challenges, implementation frameworks, and application scenarios. It analyzes use cases compatible with existing equipment (including Centauris encryptors, Juniper devices, and Cisco routers) and reports findings for building scalable and robust quantum-resistant infrastructure.
